Expanding Collaboration with the Kontaktmission Germany

This week, AG German Institute had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Kontaktmission Germany, a globally connected missionary movement supporting Christian organizations. Their visit reinforced our shared commitment to equipping Kenyan Christians for opportunities in Germany, particularly in the healthcare and kindergarten sectors.
As part of this initiative, Kontaktmission is actively promoting “reverse missionary work”—supporting Kenyan Christians in coming to Germany to serve in Christian partner organizations. This aligns with the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the Evangelical Alliance of Germany (EAD), the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya (EAK), and AG German Institute, which lays the foundation for structured recruitment and training efforts.
During their visit, Kontaktmission explored our language training programs and met with representatives from EAK, the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA), and Africa International University (AIU). These discussions emphasized the importance of international collaboration in preparing candidates both linguistically and culturally for their transition to Germany.
Through this strengthened partnership, we continue to support Kenyan professionals in developing the skills necessary to thrive in their roles abroad, ensuring a meaningful exchange between Kenya and Germany.
