The course fee does not include the official ÖSD exam fee. It covers all internal exams you’ll take during the course.
It’s not necessary to take official exams at the end of each level unless they are required for your visa application. These exams are costly and generally do not add value unless specifically needed.
Internal exams are designed to provide feedback on your progress. They cover reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. While these exams are not recognized by embassies, they are crucial for assessing your understanding and are conducted monthly.
If you do not pass an internal exam, you’ll need to retake the last month of your course. Additionally, you will have to pay the tuition fee for any extra months required to complete the course.
Regular absences may require you to repeat a month of classes. As with failing an exam, you’ll need to pay for any additional months needed to catch up.
The A1, A2, and B1 courses each last for 2 months, while the B2 level course extends over 3 months.
