For AG students only

We offer au pair placements for direct placement with families in Germany, free of charge. This is a service we provide to our own students only — to be introduced to a host family, you must be enrolled with AG German Institute. Families are looking for female candidates between 18 and 25 years old, and a B1 ÖSD certificate is required by the time you receive your appointment date.

Plan ahead — timing matters

The waiting time for a visa appointment is currently around 10–11 months, so it is worth getting onto the embassy waiting list early. Practically, this means aiming to hold a full B1 ÖSD certificate within 7–8 months of applying for your appointment, so everything is in place when your date arrives.

We can only introduce you to families once you have received an appointment from the embassy and hold your ÖSD B1 certificate.
