Kenya’s Ambassador to Germany Visits AG German Institute

AG German Institute had the honour of welcoming H.E. Amb. Stella Mokaya Orina, Kenya’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, to our school. The visit was a proud moment for our entire team and a strong signal of confidence in the work we do connecting Kenyan talent with opportunity in Germany.

During her visit, the Ambassador recognised AG German Institute’s role as the most important private player in labour mobility between Kenya and Germany — a position we have earned through years of language training, examinations, and the successful placement of Kenyan professionals with German employers. She toured our facilities, met with staff and candidates, and saw first-hand how rigorous language preparation and practical readiness come together under one roof.

The visit also underlined our commitment to deepening the partnership between AG German Institute and the Government of Kenya. Labour mobility works best when private expertise and public policy pull in the same direction, and we are keen to continue building that cooperation — ensuring that Kenyan candidates are well prepared, well protected, and well placed as they take up opportunities abroad.

The Ambassador’s visit sits within a broader national agenda. The Government of Kenya, under President William Ruto, has made labour mobility a central pillar of its economic strategy, working through frameworks such as the Kenya–Germany Comprehensive Migration and Mobility Partnership to open structured, skilled-work opportunities for Kenyan youth in Germany while meeting Germany’s demand for qualified professionals.
